Shot in Ann Arbor and released on November 26, 2024, the film was co-directed by Tiara Partsch, with cinematography by Stephen Smith and original music by Patrick Rutkowski and Ty Bock. Inspired by the loss of a friend, Addict was featured in The Michigan Daily for its bold storytelling and creative resilience during the global pandemic.

When an unexpected engagement ignites a cascade of chaos, the countdown to the wedding becomes a high-stakes rollercoaster of shifting alliances, raw emotions, and buried secrets.
As director and casting director, Klein shaped the production’s frenetic energy and emotional depth, collaborating closely on producing and production design to create an engaging, fully realized show. Staged at the Santa Monica Playhouse in Los Angeles on April 12 and 13, 2025, the production sold out both performances.
Chameleon

Chameleon is a new musical in development that tells the story of Chase Williams, a teenager navigating depression, anxiety, and the pressures of adolescence. When Chase crosses paths with Sam Pretorius, a burned-out teen movie star, their unlikely friendship sparks a journey of self-discovery, honesty, and resilience. With a book by Daisy Villegas and music by Joey Contreras, Chameleon explores mental health and identity while celebrating humor, vulnerability, and the power of connection.
The world premiere reading was presented at the Marilyn Monroe Theater in West Hollywood, Los Angeles, on September 29, 2025. Klein produced and directed the event—overseeing casting, coordinating rehearsals, and securing the venue—while shaping both the creative vision and logistical execution.
Missionary
Assistant Director
Missionary is a sharp, irreverent comedy pilot about a wannabe Mormon social media influencer and her sidekick who head to Florida to “save” a senior community, only to discover it’s an undercover hotbed of crime. Written by Sarah Rachel Lazarus and directed by Skylar Siben, the staged reading blended satirical bite with outrageous character comedy, opening with a stand-up set by Brendan Scannell and featuring performers such as Susan Berger (Jury Duty) and Scarlett Envy (RuPaul’s Drag Race).
As assistant director, Klein supported the event’s creative development and logistical execution, helping assemble a cast of stage and screen talent and shaping the presentation into a one-night-only showcase. Presented in Los Angeles on March 13, 2025, the reading highlighted Lazarus’s comic voice while offering audiences a first look at the pilot in a collaborative, performance-driven format.
